Healthy Yogic Lunch Diet
Sometimes we just run out of ideas of what to feed ourselves with. I've just dug up to what I have at home to blend into this healthy yummy lunch combination filled with 6 rasas ( tastes).
I've included the avocados where numerous studies show that it has powerful beneficial effects on health. Below is a summary of its benefits, read more here
increadibly nutritious
rich with pottasium more than bananas
loaded with heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids
load with fiber
lowers cholestrol and triglyceride levels
the fat in them can help absorb nutrient from plant food (that's why I've included corals)
may help prevent cancer
loaded with powerful antioxidents that can protect the eyes
may help release syndrome of arthritis
help to loose weight.
The reason why I've savoured honey with avocado, is not only because it is a great immunity system, remedy for ailments but its great taste that blends with the astringent taste of avocado.
Then, we have the Holland potatoes served with Rosemary herbs. You may purchase these holland potates from any supermarkets or hypermarkets. I've got mine from Giant hypermarket. The rosemary herbs can also be purchased off the shelves from most supermarkets such as Jaya Grocer, Village Grocer. I've plucked some from my home garden as they are easily grown on its own. Rosemary herb is known for it nutrient benefits as well especially folic acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Iron, anti-oxident, just to name a few. Read more here.
Also included, homemade achar by mum. Thanks mum! Well, I need to get the opportunity to digest her recipe as I've notice a lot of ingredients required to come into this tasty blend. All sorts of vegetables. There were cucumber, carrot, cabbage, green long beans, salt, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame sees toasted, peanuts roasted and coarsely ground with the rich spice mix. I will share it in other upcoming posts.
Hope you all love it.
